Harvest Therapeutics provides client-centered telepsychiatry services for adults aged 18 and older. The practice specializes in individualized, integrative treatment for a wide range of mental health conditions, with core expertise in both psychotherapy and medication management.

Meet the Provider
Allana M. Brown, DNP, PMHNP-BC, is the founder and lead clinician at Harvest Therapeutics. A board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Dr. Brown brings extensive training in trauma, psychotherapy, and psychopharmacology to her work. Clinical expertise includes the diagnosis and treatment of depression, anxiety, trauma-related disorders, and autism-related behavioral disturbances. Therapeutic care emphasizes a warm, collaborative process—prioritizing a strong therapeutic alliance and tailoring treatment to the unique needs of each client. Dr. Brown integrates evidence-based psychotherapy and medication management into a comprehensive approach to care. Elements of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) are used when clinically appropriate to support trauma recovery and emotional regulation.
Education & Clinical Background
Dr. Brown earned dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Biology and Nursing from The College of New Rochelle and completed a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree at Fairfield University.

During doctoral training, Dr. Brown contributed to a quantitative research study exploring EMDR therapy as a resiliency-building intervention for at-risk adolescents involved in the juvenile justice system—an experience that continues to shape a trauma-responsive approach to care.

As the final academic capstone for the DNP degree, Dr. Brown led a quality improvement project within an inpatient psychiatric service line, aimed at reducing falls following electroconvulsive therapy (ECT). This work was published in the Journal of Psychosocial Nursing and Mental Health Services and reflects a commitment to safe, high-quality treatment and system-level innovation.
